Event - Going Underground in Santiago - 6 March

This presentation by Beatriz C. Maturana will show some projects that illustrate how Santiago deals with the issue of densification and pedestrianisation of the city. The three projects are the extension of the Metro lines, the new library in the Faculty of Architecture (PUC), and the Centro Cultural Palacio de La Moneda. The presentation is based on a series of observations collected over three weeks of ‘walking the city’ and will touch on public transport as an urban issue.
