Our next Sustainability Drinks event is on Wednesday 4th August 2010. Gilbert Rochecouste, Managing Director of Village Well will be our guest speaker in August. Gilbert Rochecouste is MD of Village Well, Australia’s most respected Place Making organisation since 1992. Village Well has worked with over 600 communities and places in Australia and overseas. Prepare to be challenged and inspired. Gilbert will reframe the sustainability narrative towards Place Making, offering a compelling new story of possibility. How do we reconnect people to place based on relocalisation, authentic engagement and governance principles? We live in transformative times; hence we need transformative leadership and process to create a just, sustainable and resilient world.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday the 4th August from 6 – 8pm. Please note that it is essential to RSVP every month (http://www.melbournesustainabilitydrinks.com/rsvp). Due to the ever increasing popularity of the event, it may not be possible to accommodate people who do not RSVP. This is not a sponsored event; i.e. you buy your own drinks, as we choose to come together in the spirit of a shared interest.
Location: Melbourne Sustainability Drinks has relocated to Arintji at Federation Square.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tjanabi – Melbourne Sustainability Drinks’ home since 2009 for their support and patronage. We wish them all the best in their relocation from Federation Square.
