Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method of evaluating the potential environmental impacts of products and services. This evaluation is based on the whole life cycle of the product/service, or a cradle-to-grave approach. The two day course is a detailed introductory course covering LCA methodology and practical application of a mini-LCA. Examples, case studies and workshops are used to demonstrate efficient LCA data collection and streamlined LCA techniques and analysis.
The course is designed for professionals (policy makers, managers, designers, engineers, and environmental specialists), educators and students interested in understanding or practicing Life Cycle Assessment.
