Seeking support for Pants to Poverty campaign
Posted in Seeking by Ferne Edwards on June 18th, 2009
Please see message below.
I am involved in a new campaign to have the chemical endosulphane present in pesticides used in the cultivation of cotton banned for its negative human and environmental side effects. The campaign is the brainchild of a UK group called Pants to Poverty. I am helping them to launch here in Australia.
I was wondering whether you would have any good ideas as to which groups would be good to approach. Also would you know of anyone working on these kinds of issues here in Melbourne?
Let me know,
Zazie.
