Earth Made me

Here at Earth Made Me, we are very much involved in sustainability. With our parent company having been in the fashion industry for 13 years and having been appalled by the amount of wastage, the Earth Made Me brand aims to both address and raise awareness about the issue, whilst still appealing to the fashion savvy demographic.

Earth Made Me is an eco-chic boutique, showcasing local and internationals labels with eco-friendly product ranging from casual wear and evening wear to accessories; an amazing selection in fashion and lifestyle for the eco-chic shopper. Earth Made Me is a proud supporter of Fair Trade practices and supports sustainability through the use of environmentally friendly processes.

Currently under development, our store will be unique by nature, encompassing an eco-friendly and sustainable fit-out with recycled and environmentally conscious fixtures. In the meantime, we have an online store at Earth Made Me.

Amelia de Bie, founder of Iotia and the blogsite, I op therefore I am, spoke about this latter venture, titled “Melbournes collaborative op shopping blog” at the recent Sustainable Cities Round Table on Waste Not Want Not, 24 September. Not perturbed by the fact that she was not in Australia at the time of the event, Amelia prepared an online version of her presentation which can be viewed below. Even though she wasn’t able to physically be there on the night, it was still a delight to present her work at this forum!
