Join an ARC (Australian Research Council) Linkage Project that aims to develop green or vegetated roofs suitable for Australian climates as a climate change mitigation and adaptation measure. This research project is a collaboration between the University of Melbourne, Melbourne Water, Department of Sustainability and Environment, City of Melbourne, Committee for Melbourne and the University of Sheffield.

You will investigate the relationship between green roof substrate depth and composition and roof runoff water flows and quality by monitoring green roofs provided by our partners and conducting experiments. You will also undertake hydrological and green roof scenario modelling and assist with the supervision of PhD and honours students associated with the project.
