Event – 14 August closing date for BPN Sustainability Awards
Its your last chance to enter the inaugural BPN Environ Sustainability Awards.
These unique awards recognise and reward excellence in environmental design and construction in Australias building industry. A recent UN report found that buildings account for 30 to 40 per cent of global energy use. BPN and Environ encourage innovation and design expertise that will make our buildings more sustainable.
There is already a tremendous amount of excellent work being done in this regard. We invite companies and individuals to enter building projects which are examples of environmentally sustainable design. Both the builder and the architect will be acknowledged if their project is the winner.
The projects should have been completed in Australia between 30 June 2006 and 30 June 2007. There are eight categories: Large scale commercial; Small commercial; High density residential; Medium density residential; Low density residential; Single dwelling; Office fitouts; Public buildings.
The deadline for entries is 14 August 2007.
An awards ceremony will be held on 1 November 2007 at The Tearooms in Sydneys Queen Victoria Building, where the winning teams will be given the opportunity to present their project to a distinguished audience.
