Www.SustainableMelbourne.com is a blogsite that promotes and advocates for urban sustainability in Melbourne. SustainableMelbourne.com joins a number of other ‘SustainableX.com’ city sites around the world. The blog is intended as a focus for existing activity and as a way of stimulating new networks, research, and action in Melbourne. SustainableMelbourne.com will showcase environmental initiatives and house debate to push ahead urban sustainability knowledge and practice.

Posts on-site are only a fraction of the environmental initiatives in Melbourne. If you would like to submit a post, please contact the moderator (see under ‘contact’). Posts must relate to urban sustainability in Melbourne, have a max. of 500 words and include authors name and a brief bio of 5 words max.
Contributions of images
We are looking for artists, designers, illustrators and filmmakers who would like to contribute photos, film, drawings and maps to complement content on-site. All contributions will have full acknowledgment and retainment of author’s ownership. These blogs will also be heavily promoted through media, events and associated environmental networks.
