Sustainable Schools Project

CERES (the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies, pronounced â€˜series) in conjunction with the Federal government and Sustainability Victoria has launched the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative.
Primary and secondary schools from across the nation embark upon a sustainability transformation in the areas of water, energy, biodiversity, water and waste. In completion of all the modules, the school will be accredited a 5-star Sustainable School. So far, there have been 140 Victorian schools who have taken part in the Sustainable Schools program with 6 of them achieving the full 5-star rating. Some case studies are listed below:
