Like Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring”, Al Gore’s movie “an inconvenient truth” was a watershed in the environmental movement, it focused world attention on the problems of global warming and climate change. The precursor to this movie was the Al Gore Slideshow. A simple, but poignant, slideshow which clearly demonstrated the current impact and possible future impact of climate change, while dispelling the myths of global warming denial.

Sustainability Street is proud to present the “Al Gore Slideshow” which will be delivered by Al Gore trained presenter Gilbert Rochecouste.

While “an inconvenient truth” explains the WHAT and WHY of climate
change, Sustainability Street shows the “HOW”. How to change culture,
how to reduce our impact on the environment, how to influence others,
how to join with your community to make a difference, how to be part of
the solution. Members of local Sustainability Street Villages will be
on hand to talk to about what they have done, their plans for the
future and how you can be involved.

So bring a friend, bring someone who you don’t know very well, bring
your whole street, bring people who don’t understand what is happening,
bring someone you meet at the shops.
