Event and Local Action - Seeking Community Input on the Yarra Environment Strategy

June 12th, 2007

by Ferne Edwards

The City of Yarra is about to commence the development of a new Environment Strategy and wants to hear your thoughts, priorities and ideas. Council will be running a series of community workshops throughout June and July to gain your input. You are encouraged to attend one or more of the workshops to have your say.

All workshops will be held from 7pm–9pm, with light refreshments served from 6.30pm. Workshops in the Town Halls will focus on a specific lifestyle theme and involve guest speakers, and all other workshops will cover a range of environment topics on a locality basis.

For more information, or to register your attendance, please contact:
Silvana Predebon on 9205 5753 or predebos @yarracity.vic.gov.au.
Updates will posted at www.yarracity.vic.gov.au
