I watched tonighs show with great excitiment. In a time whan all is cheating, voilece, and a total coverup in governemtns large companys etc it was a breath fresh air to see a man with such honest convection. We should all be gronwing food in our own gardensthis way and feeding our children ourselves. Thank you so very much for giving me the ability to see hope. Thank you for being strong and thank you very much for being you.
    Kindest regards Robyn

I completely agree. I am a 24 year old ‘city chick’ yet could not tear my eyes off the screen from Australian story last night . It is disgusting that he can not get funding for his research as it wont make any company big dollars. Thank you Maarten for fighting for what you believe in. Every australian and their children should be thanking you.

At a time when our land is being eroded, rivers silted, dried, salted and full of algae from nitrate runoff, we have a “PEAK NATIONAL RESEARCH BODY” with NO INTEREST in the solution. It’s a national disgrace. With enough public interest in Maarten Stapper, Peter Andrews’ soil rehabilitation methods, permaculture and organic methods in general, there is hope that sustainable agriculture will start to receive the attention it deserves from research bodies who might finally be forced to remove their heads from the sand.

I would like to contact Maarten Stappers. I also did my first degrees in agricultural science in Wageningen, as he did, and I did a PhD in soil science at Cornell University, Ithaca NY, but now live and work in Melbourne. I am based at 14 Linlithgow Street, Mitcham 3132.
