There is NO such place as Templestowe Train Station…This is extremely misleading

Sorry, I don’t usually have time to double-check the info I’m given. Thanks for letting me know – I have updated the post from the Permablitz site.

Would you be able to clarify the details about the train station? I have no doubt there is a train station within 4 kilometres, however it would not be Templestowe station, as it doesn’t exist. There isn’s a train line serving that north-eastern corner of Melbourne (Doncaster, Templestowe, Warrandyte etc); only bus services. Might it possibly be Montmorency or Eltham train stations, on the Hurstbridge line?

I’m all for decreasing my carbon footprint but why the need to be patronising with “Parking is available if you must bring your car” when you’ve just stated that there is no public transport access? In fact, even by bus you must walk over a kilometre from the nearest stop. This will rule out anyone (like myself) with any sort of public transport mobility issue. Perhaps be a little kinder when referencing parking? Some of us will _have_ to drive if we want to attend this event…

Just to clarify, these announcements are rarely generated by Sustainable Melbourne. This is one of those cases.

Good Day. I apologise for misleading people. I thought there was a train station. I do not live in Templestowe, & did a google search for the station & it came up on google. I have since found that it is actually a gym training place. Would love it if you could still come along, there is access from the Yarra Trail bicycle route. Sorry!! Meggs
