COMMUNICATION KNOW HOW
Date: Saturday 13 September
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
- Speak confidently and effectively in public
- Manage high-pressure interactions with decision-makers
- Create presentations that educate, inspire and persuade
GRANT SEEKING KNOW HOW
Date: Saturday 20 September
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
- Find the money from governments, trusts and companies
- Tailor your project to the priorities of a funding body
- Write an effective grant application
LOBBYING KNOW HOW
Date: Saturday 4 October
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
- Have an impact on the policy making process
- Develop a targeted lobbying strategy to achieve your goals
- Conduct an interview with a member of parliament
MEDIA KNOW HOW
Date: Saturday 11 October
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
- Plan a media campaign for maximum ‘newsworthiness’
- Write a media release that grabs attention
- Give a media interview that gets your message across
VENUE: RMIT City Campus, Swanston Street, Melbourne.
All venues are disability accessible. Full venue details and a campus plan will be provided on confirmation of registration.
COST: $100 inc GST for four workshops or $30 inc GST per workshop for members of unfunded community groups. $240 inc GST for four workshops or $70 inc GST per workshop for members of funded NGOs.
