Event & Local Action – the next Sustainable Cities Round Table, 1 August

The next Sustainable Cities Round Table sponsored by VicUrban will be held on Wednesday 1 August at the University of Melbourne.
The goals of the Sustainable Cities Round Table are to enhance collaboration between key stakeholders in urban sustainability while brainstorming new ideas and connections to further sustainability within Melbourne. Come along and find out whats happening to create a sustainable Melbourne!
The evening will showcase key local and international environmental initiatives from the government, industry, academic and community sector.
Key speakers include:

David Teller, UNGC-Cities Programme Director & Committee for Melbourne Acting CEO
David Craven, Executive Director Green Building Council of Australia
Martin Willams, Sustainability Manager, VicUrban
Monique Conheady, Co-founder and CEO, Flexicar
Mick Pierce, Design Inc.
In addition to the pecha kucha style presentations, there will also be a brainstorming session on the topic, â€˜Creating a carbon neutral community with the lights on by VicUrban. The evening will close with networking and drinks.
