Community Sustainability Officer

You will play a key role in the implementation of strategies and be responsible for implementing programs to engage residents, schools and community groups in activities that progress Council’s greenhouse, sustainable water management and waste objectives. The Community Sustainability Officer is also responsible for initiating projects and programs and proactively identifying opportunities for partnerships, including sourcing their funding, leading project teams, identifying, responding to and servicing current and potential project partners, and providing input into policy development and implementation, including the incorporation of community feedback/consultation.
